Jefferson and Columbus 151 Speedway announce Summer Rumble programs!

June 10, 2001; Jefferson, WI. Jefferson Speedway and Columbus 151 Speedway join forces to present the Summer Rumble. Two nights of racing, on 2 tracks, with just 1 overall winner.

In addition to the regular price money, for the races at both tracks, the overall top finishers for both nights will collect their share of $2,900 in bonus money.

The action starts Friday, June 15, at Columbus 151 Speedway, with the first round of the Pepsi Triple 60 Series. Late Models, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Back-ups and Junior Motorsports cars will compete in a full racing program. Qualifying is at 6:15 and racing starts at 7:45 PM.

Saturday night the action picks up at Jefferson Speedway. Featured action includes the Papa Murphy's 50-Lap Late Model Feature along with a full racing program in the Late Model, International, Sportsman and Hobby Stock divisions. The One on One Street Drags will round out the night's action at Jefferson Speedway. Gates open at 3:00 PM, qualifying at 5:00 and racing at 7:00 sharp. The top 10 overall Late Model feature finishers along with the top 6 in the Sportsman and Hobby Stocks claim their share of the bonus money.

Contributing to the bonus money, for this 2 night shoot out are Club LaMark in Madison, Ken Olson's Used Cars in Cambridge, JRC Enterprises Auto Repair & Machine Shop and Moore's Towing in Madison.

Columbus 151 speedway is off highway 151 at County V, seven miles north of Sun Prairie.

Jefferson Speedway is half way between Cambridge and Jefferson on highway 18.
