The International division did not participate in the “NAPA Summer Rumble” bonus program.

At the wave of the green Deporter started his journey to the front as Ken Scott claimed the early lead. Scott led the way for 18 laps, opening a strong lead, as Deporter battled his way to 3rd. Scott developed car trouble pulling from the track on lap 18, handing the point to Tod Goldade. As Goldade pulled to the point, Deporter moved to the inside, launching his bid for the lead.
